Vatican City Pius XI and Pius XII Coin Collection 1929-1958

Finding a Vatican City mint set between the 1930s and 1940s is a difficult task. Finding all of the sets is a rare accomplishment indeed. Jencius Coins is pleased to offer a near-complete set of non-gold Pope Pius XI and Pope Pius XII (1929-1958) coins in uncirculated condition. Apart from the impossible 1938 issues, the assembled set lacks only 7 coins (5 of which are easily attainable) to completion. The entire collection is encased in three custom lucite holders (with spaces reserved for the remainder of the collection). This hard-to-attain collection may never be as fully assembled again and is a rare prize for the serious Vatican coin collector.

Collection consists of the following annual coin sets (not including gold coins): 1929 (8 coins), 1930 (8 coins), 1931 (8 coins), 1932 (8 coins), 1933-34 (6 coins, less 10 Cent., 1L), 1934 (7 coins, less 10 Cent.), 1935 (5 coins, less 5 Cent., 20 Cent., 50 Cent.), 1936 (8 coins), 1937 (8 coins), 1939 (8 coins), 1940 (8 coins), 1941 (8 coins), 1942 (8 coins), 1943 (8 coins), 1944 (8 coins), 1945 (8 coins), 1946 (8 coins), 1947 (4 coins), 1948 (4 coins), 1949 (4 coins), 1950 (4 coins), 1951 (4 coins), 1952 (4 coins), 1953 (4 coins), 1955 (6 coins), 1956 (6 coins), 1957 (7 coins), 1958 (8 coins).
