1958 Vatican medal celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Priesthood of Cardinal Alberto di Jorio, president of the Istituto per le Opere di Religione ("Institute of Religious Works"). Di Jorio also ran the Vatican Bank for a period of time and participated in the 1963 conclave that elected Paul VI.

50mm across, beautiful toned UNC with original case. Case weak at the hinge but in very sound condition for its age.
