Official Vatican Annual Medal, anno XXVI of Pope Leo XIII on the institution of the Biblical Commission (Commissione Pontificia de Re Biblica). Reverse depicts saints John the Evangelist, Peter, Paul; prophets Isaiah, Moses, Nehemiah. Obverse a little dull with some spotty toning, reverse nicer. Issue date mintage of approx. 1000-1200.
