Massive bronze medal--nearly 99mm in diameter--commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Lateran Treaty, 1929-2009. Obverse depicts Popes Benedict XVI and Pius XI. Reverse depicts a map of Vatican City with a green enameled border. Bronze center with a gold over bronze outer ring. Rare medal sculpted by Sergio Giandomenico. Lovely matte uncirculated condition.
