1758 (Rome) Sede Vacante Scudo coin, issued after the death of Pope Benedict XIV and before the election of Clement XIII. VF+, mount attached, obverse with a few faint scratches. Obverse: Arms of Camerlengo Cardinal Girolamo Colonna, surmounted by papal umbrella, crossed keys, and the Cardinal's Hat. Reverse: Holy Spirit as a radiant dove flying above the clouds; in exergue, the arms of Monsignor D'Elci. The first papal coin to bear the "SCUDO" inscription.
