Savoy. Amadeo VIII 1391-1434 AD Billon Obolo di bianchetto. A quite scarce early piece from Savoy from an interesting figure in history. Amadeo VIII was better known as Anti-pope Felix V from 1439-49 AD. This piece is from 1398-1416, long before his involvement with the papacy. Crude aFine from roughish surfaces, but not bad at all in hand.
