A Girolamo Paladino medal of Pope Callistus III in white glass (or, a "paste"). This is a papal medal that exists merely by chance. Created in France circa 1800 as a demonstration of the ability to produce such a medal in this medium. The blank reverse has chipped but in a good spot as there are no sharp edges. A very special medal for the discerning papal collector as this is, very likely, one-of-a-kind.
